We want to learn what happens to sleep quality and cognitive performance when a child is more active throughout the day. This study will ask families to help us compare a day of typical routines and behavior to a day with more physical activity sprinkled throughout the day.

SUNRISE Study
We are excited to serve as a US New England site for the SUNRISE Study! The SUNRISE study is an international study of movement behaviors in the early years with a goal of bringing together researchers from low-, middle-, and high-income countries across the globe. The study aims are to measure physical activity, sedentary behavior and sleep for children under the age of 5 years.

Family CARES Study
We would like to learn more about what home and family child care providers know about children's sleep and physical activity, what they currently do with the children in their care, and what challenges and barriers are present for them in relation to these behaviors.
